A Peruvian delegation won four medals at the 8th Romanian Master in Mathematics (RMM 2016) held in Bucharest on February 24th-29th.

The national team was composed of students: Christian Altamirano, Daniel Rojas (2 silver), as well as Jemisson Coronel and Raul Alcantara (2 bronze medals).

The international competition gathered outstanding students from 20 countries, who displayed a high-academic performance.

The Peruvian participation served to promote the exchange of experiences, a healthy competition, as well as the strengthening and development of students' skills.

Likewise, it contributes to enhancing quality of education in Peru. 

Students' participation was possible thanks to the support provided by the Education Ministry and the Peruvian Society of Mathematics.
