Peru, Belarus to expand legal base of cooperation

The governments of Peru and Belarus have agreed to expand the legal base of their bilateral cooperation.

The matter was discussed at the meeting of Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to Belarus (with concurrent accreditation) Gustavo Otero Zapata on 15 April, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry told BelTA.

The sides pointed out the need to give a new impulse to Belarus-Peru cooperation in politics, trade, and economic spheres.

The importance of expanding the bilateral legal base of relations was underlined as well as the need to exchange visits of delegations of business circles.

As part of the expansion of cooperation in cultural affairs the idea to arrange a Peruvian expo 1000 Years of Inca Gold in Minsk was discussed.

The Ambassador of Peru also presented copies of the credentials to the Belarusian Foreign Minister.
