Peru: Arequipa cuisine and desserts to be present at Mistura 2015

The Arequipa gastronomy will be present at the most famous Peruvian food festival known as Mistura.

Chefs will put their best traditional dishes and creativity on display.

Among the traditional restaurants to visit in the food festival are: La Lucila, Laurita Cau Cau and La Benia, which serve the traditional rocoto relleno (stuffed roasted red pepper), cuy chactado (fried guinea pig), chicharrón de chancho (pork crackling), chupe de camarones (shrimp chowder), adobo and chicha de guiñapo, among others.

El garaje and El Atracon sandwich shops will also offer products at this event.

Concerning regional desserts, the alfajor by Vildoso (Tambo valley) and queso helado by Nandito will be sold to attendees.

Arequipa cuisine at Mistura festivals has been highly acclaimed by attendees, who are delighted by its flavors.

This said event will be held on the Costa Verde area, located in the Magdalena del Mar district, Lima on September 4th and 13th.
