Peru appoints new envoy to Malaysia

The Government of Peru has recently appointed Guido Felipe Loayza Devescovi as the new Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Peru to Malaysia.

The appointment was made official by Supreme Decree 195-2015-RE in accordance with the Peruvian Constitution, which established the power of the President of the Republic to appoint plenipotentiary ambassadors and ministers with the approval of the Cabinet and Congress.

Published today in El Peruano official gazette, the order states that credentials and full powers have been issued to the diplomat.

The document was signed by Peruvian President Ollanta Humala Tasso and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ana Maria Sanchez de Rios.

On the other hand, a ministerial resolution will set the date on which the new Ambassador will officially take up his diplomatic duties.
