Peru and Slovenia to ink cooperation agreements

The governments of the Republics of Peru and Slovenia have decided to engage in negotiations aimed at signing agreements to strenghen cooperation concerning the fight against drug-trafficking and organized crime, Peru’s Foreign Affairs Ministry confirmed.

The decision was made during the official visit paid to Peru by the Slovenian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Karl Erjavec.

Erjavec was welcomed by Peru’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Gonzalo Gutierrez.

According to the Foreign Ministry, both presided over the First Workshop on Political Consultation.

At the gathering commercial, migratory, environmental and sustainable development-related affairs were addressed.
