Producers from Amazonian Loreto, San Martin, Ucayali, Huanuco and Madre de Dios regions will be provided the necessary tools to increase shipments to South Korea, U.S. and other Latin American countries.
This will be possible during their participation in the ExpoAmazonica 2015 fair, Peru’s Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Magali Silva announced.
The international event, to be held in Puerto Maldonado (Madre de Dios region) on 13 – 16 August, is expected to welcome over 25,000 visitors.
"We have been working since the first edition of ExpoAmazonica [2012] with the aim of creating a space for business, investment, tourism and knowledge transfer required to benefit our producers [...],” she told.
ExpoAmazonica is an international multisectoral well-positioned Peruvian fair sponsored by Peru’s Export and Tourism Promotion Board (PromPeru). On this occasion, over 200 stands have been set up to allow putting the best of the Peruvian export supply on display.
