Convocan a jóvenes talentos para que postulen a Beca 18

A total 322 poverty-stricken citizens, living at the Huallaga River area, will receive training in different domains through the Technical-Productive Scholarship implemented through the National Program for Scholarships and Educational Loans (Pronabec).

This was confirmed by the Technical Secretary of the Multisectoral Commission for Pacification and Economic and Social Development in Huallaga area (ST-Codehuallaga) attached to the Presidency of Council of Ministers.

It also specified 150 beneficiaries are from following cities: Tocache (region San Martin); 138 from Leoncio Prado (Huanuco) and 34 from Padre Abad (Ucayali).

Additionally, youngsters from other districts of the regions Huanuco and Ucayali will also receive those grants.

This Scholarship will benefit people from low-income families, and therefore, vulnerable populations living in the Huallaga River-area, whose ages are under 40. Those also intend to support Armed Forces discharged personnel and victims of violence presenting any disability, aged below 60.

The comprehensive scholarships will train those grant holders in topics such as: Strengthening of cooperatives administration, cuisine, electricity, computers repairing, auto mechanic and carpentry, among others.

As well, they will be provided training for riding backhoes, dumping trucks, etc. 

Recognized institutions will give the classes. Among those are: The Peruvian Association of Exporters (Adex), National Service for Industrial Labor Training (Senati), Technological Institute, Tecsup, the Center for Training in Tourism (Cenfotur), Peruvian Institute of Computing and Information Technology (Cibertec), among others.

It should be noted ST-Codehuallaga works jointly with Pronabec and local authorities, so more people can access these scholarships intended to improve their competences in order to be included into the job market of the Huallaga river area.
