Presidents from the countries making up the Pacific Alliance will get together to discuss investment opportunities during a roadshow in New York, United States on September 27-28, Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed.

The said roadshow will bring together President Ollanta Humala and his Chilean, Colombian and Mexican counterparts.

The past 20 years have seen enormous progress in the leading Latin American economies, the Pacific Alliance countries: Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru, reads its web site.

These nations are working to build an area of deep economic integration and to move toward the free movement of goods, services, capital and people.

Investors are now beginning to recognize the Pacific Alliance as one of the most dynamic and attractive economic areas that offer increasing opportunities to international investors.

The combined economies of the Pacific Alliance make up the 9th largest economy in the world. It is larger in fact than Brazil if financial and capital markets are considered.

This is the first time the international conference "Investments Opportunities in the Pacific Alliance Countries" will be held at the most important financial centers: New York, London and Singapore.

The first stop will be in New York City on September 27th and 28th. The gathering will see the participation of the four Presidents, four Finance Ministers, four Foreign Trade Ministers, four Foreign Affairs Ministers and authorities including Ambassadors and financial and capital market regulators.

The event will also feature a private sector delegation of the Alliance and high representatives of important Pacific Alliance Multi-Latinas.
