Lima to host Latin America Fiexpo 2014

Peru's capital Lima is set to play this year's host of the International Fair of Conventions Market and Incentive Trips for Latin American and the Caribbean - Fiexpo Latin America, aimed at promoting infrastructure and services in business and corporate tourism.
Fiexpo Latin America is due to be held from 2nd June to 4rd June at Lima's Sheraton Convention Center and it is expected to convene most countries from the region.

Likewise, Fiexpo seeks to be a true platform, where Latin America will show its capacity to hold international events, both within and beyond the region by bringing together leading buyers from around the world.

Indee, the exhibit will be a unique platform to showcase the top tourism destinations in the field of meetings, incentives and business at a same venue. 

During the three-day forum, not only will attendants have a minimum of six daily interviews previously scheduled with the most outstanding international buyers, but they will also be able to set their own appointments with representatives of the continent’s professional associations, whose conventions rotate periodically across the continent.

According to the event's official website, among the exhibitors expected to take part to this annual show are conventions and visitors bureaus, departments and tourism ministries, regional and local tourism offices, hotels.

Likewise, International hotel chains, specialized travel agencies, cruise liners, car rentals, resorts & spas, convention centers, hotels equipped with Convention Centers are scheduled to attend the meeting.

The seventh edition of Fiexpo will also gather technology suppliers, golf clubs, commercial associations, destination management companies, professional event organizers, special event organizers, and transportation firms.

This event is promoted by Peru's Export and Tourism Promotion Board (PromPeru) together with Peru’s Hotel and Restaurants Association (Ahora), the National Chamber of Tourism (Canatur) and Lima’s Conventions and Visitors Bureau.
