Lebanon president heads to South America for ASPA summit

Lebanese President Michel Suleiman is scheduled to travel to South America at the end of September to tour a number of countries, including Peru.
An-Nahar newspaper reported on Sunday that the president's tour kicks off on September 30 and will include Argentina, Peru, and Uruguay.

In Peru, the Lebanese leader will attend the Third Summit of South American-Arab Countries (ASPA) on October 1-2.

During his trip, President Suleiman will meet with senior government officials and Lebanese expatriates.

The daily also reported that the 2013 parliamentary elections will likely be featured during his meetings with Lebanese expatriates.
