Argentina legend Diego Maradona has named Peruvian winger Jefferson Farfan as one of the top players to watch at the coming 2015 Copa America, hosted by Chile.
“I think this will be one of the best cups in history. We are going to have a well-organized Copa America. Chile (the host nation) is willing to win and they have a good team to accomplish it,” he said on De Zurda, a popular sports program broadcast on the Telesur network featuring the legendary footballer.
The soccer star listed the names of the poster boys at this year Copa America to be held between June and July.
Among the most notable were Jefferson Farfan (Peru), James Rodriguez (Colombia), Edinson Cavani (Uruguay), Arturo Vidal (Chile), Chicharito Hernandez (Mexico), Roque Santa Cruz (Paraguay), Enner Valencia (Ecuador) and Salomon Rondon (Venezuela).
The 2015 Copa America kicks off on Thursday, June 11 when Chile takes on Ecuador in Group A.
