Italy's Defense Minister, Roberta Binotti, will pay an official visit to Peru, in order to participate in the official introduction of the first military transport plane acquired by the Peruvian Government.
It intends to repower the Peruvian Air Force (FAP) logistics.
The C-27 J Spartan aircraft is a modern plane purchased from Italian enterprise Alenia Aermacchi.
Those types of aircrafts will contribute to the renewal of the older than two decades FAP transport planes.
The new high-technology-equipped airplanes will enable Peruvian Air Force personnel to carry out military operations on the rugged national geography.
The corresponding introduction will take place on March 27 at the Las Palmas Air Base located in Lima.
