The “1000 Years of Inca Gold” exhibition - featuring pre-Columbian and Inca artifacts -opened last week at the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow, Peruvian Embassy to Russia said.
The opening ceremony was led by museum director, Irina Antonova and Peruvian ambassador of the Russian Federation, Gustavo Otero.
The event was attended by Gold Museum of Lima director, Victoria Mujica, Russian officials and representatives of public, private, cultural and tourist institutions.
Visitors will be able to see the amulets, jewelry and ritual plate, made from pure gold - dark gold that changed through thousands of hands.
The exhibition runs from March 19 to May 29, 2013.
