Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski's approval rating saw an 11 percentage-point rise to reach 42% in April, according to the latest GfK poll published on Sunday by La Republica newspaper.
Such increase matches with the previous Ipsos Peru poll that placed the Head of State's popularity at 43%.
Government's measures concerning the reconstruction of areas affected by recent Coastal El Niño phenomenon were well-received by the population.
Approval of the President in the following socioeconomic sectors stands at: upper "A/B" (54%), middle "C" (43%) and low "D/E" (39%). In the latter, popularity experienced a 15 percentage-point increase from March.
Likewise, it reaches 39% and 49% in the northern and eastern areas of the country, respectively.
Ministers
The poll also revealed the most popular Ministers are: Salvador del Solar (Culture, 42%); Fernando Zavala (Prime, 40%); Martin Vizcarra (Transport and Communications, 37%) and Patricia Garcia (Health, 37%).
They are followed by: Alfredo Thorne (Economy and Finance, 35%); Marilu Martens (Education, 35%); Carlos Basombrio (Interior, 33%); Jorge Nieto (Defense, 32%); Marisol Perez Tello (Justice and Human Rights, 28%); Cayetana Aljovin (Development and Social Inclusion, 27%) and Bruno Giuffra (Production, 22%).
