Commerce and service were the sectors, which contributed the most to Peru’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by October this year, confirmed the Central Reserve Bank (BCR).
Service accounted 2.2% to GDP by October. Commerce added 0.5%.
So far this year, GDP has grown 2.8% in the January – October period during the current year.
It must be reminded the aforementioned segments grew 5.8% and 4.5%, respectively between January and October 2014.
Just in October services and commerce grew 5.5% and 4.2%.
“GDP registered a 2.4% growth in October, which led to a 2.8% growth in the 10 first months of the year,” expressed the institution.
