Garments and accessories made of the finest collection of Peruvian alpaca wool have been largely accepted among members of the United States Naval Academy, who opt for them especially during winter.

The Go Navy Alpaca Collection includes a variety of full length coats, blazers, sweaters, shawls, capes, hats, gloves and more, and they are demanded even by parents, relatives, and friends of the young men and women enrolled in the Naval Academy.
According to Alpaca International, company dedicated to the distribution of this collection throughout the US, upon graduating, many of the Academy members “stop by the store to say goodbye, but not for the last time.”

The Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland has recently recognized the contribution of Alpaca International to the institution.

In a speech before public personalities and businessmen, Vice Adm. Walter E. “Ted” Carter Jr. highlighted the quality of the Peruvian fiber and products.

Zia Boccaccio, CEO and founder of Alpaca International, thanked the distinction and shared her experiences with attendees by stressing the value chain process going from the field to retail stores.
