Aiming to increase its consumption and promote Peruvian gastronomy as well, London-based Peruvian restaurants have joined forces to organize the first ever Pisco Sour Week.

Taking place from the 1st to 8th of February in London's coolest Peruvian restaurants, the initiative is an extension of the Pisco Sour day celebrated in Peru on the first Saturday of February.

It seems that one day just isn’t enough, and that is why a handful of restaurants and the Peruvian Trade & Investment Office have prepared a nice experience including promotions, different preparations of the spirit, among other activities for the whole the week.

London Pisco Sour Week (LPSW) 2015 is also supposed to be a week dedicated to Peru's iconic restaurants, since, according to Jaime Cardenas, director of the said office, it is part of a “comprehensive strategy to enhance the presence of Peru through its gastronomy.”

The restaurants that are participating in this first edition of the LPSW are, among others, Coya, Señor ceviche, Tierra Peru, Pachamama, which are already gearing up for it.

Those attending the participating restaurants can enjoy £5 Pisco Sours from each of their venues.
