Peru's Economy and Finance Minister Alfredo Thorne emphasized two French investment banks are interested in bringing capitals into the Andean country.

Thorne affirmed those organizations had showed their willingness to help finance Peru's Small-and-Medium (SMEs) enterprises.

As is known, the minister is currently in Paris joining President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski at official events.

In this context, he met with representatives of 11 French companies, who expressed interest in investing in the Andean country's construction, energy and health sectors.

The economist also affirmed those firms want to participate in the reconstruction of Peru's northern areas hit by natural disasters during the January-March period.

Lastly, Thorne highlighted French enterprises desire to invest in the Inca nation in the long term, along with Peruvian counterparts.
