Education Min: We will make every effort to improve education quality in Peru

Through the Education Ministry, the Peruvian Government is committed to making every effort to enhance the quality of education in the country, Minister Marilu Martens affirmed on Monday.

"We always commit to putting the education of our students first, improving the quality of public education. We are working on closing gaps in rural and urban education," she pointed out.

The government official called on the principals and teachers of all schools in the country to join this endeavor to provide better education for the Inca nation's children. 

Remarks came as part of a message of positivity and encouragement on the occasion of the beginning of academic year 2017 in public schools. 

The Minister joined President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski during a visit to Roberto Quispe Pomalaza school in Andean Junin region, where they participated in the academic year opening ceremony.
