On Sunday, the national adult soccer team conducted training sessions at the Santiago de Chile National Stadium, where it will face its Chilean counterpart on Monday at 08:30 PM (local time).
The match will serve to define, which of both teams will advance in the Copa America 2015 tournament and qualify for the event’s finals.

On the other hand, a crowd composed of some 100 Peruvian fans came near the hotel, which hosts the team while in Santiago.
Matches played by Peru against Chile are considered of “high rivalry” in the region. Both teams have faced each other on 76 occasions. Chile has won 41 times; Peru only 21. On 14 occasions, games have ended in draws.
It must be noted in Paraguay-organized 1979 tournament, both teams played against each other in semi-finals.
Peru has won the Copa America tournament twice (1939 and 1975), whereas Chile has never taken the trophy home.
