Peruvian striker Claudio Pizarro received an emotional farewell from Bayern Munich at the Allianz arena before their home match against Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.
Pizarro, the top foreign goal scorer (177) in the German league, ended his employment relationship with Bayern Munich at the end of last season.
This is why the Club’s board decided to bid a farewell, to honor his outstanding career supporting the team where he obtained important achievements, and where he managed to claim his 18th Cup.
The Andean bomber got a standing ovation from Bayern Munich fans before the Saturday match.
He was given a bouquet of flowers on the field and a video of his career achievements with the team was shown via social networks.
