The visit of the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, Zhang Dejiang, aims at strengthening relations between the Legislative powers of both countries.
Thus, it seeks to consolidate the agreements inked during President Ollanta Humala's last trip to China.
On Friday, Zhang is scheduled to visit the Peruvian Congress facilities, where he will meet his local counterpart, Ana María Solórzano.
The Chinese official will also participate in a formal sitting by the hosting nation’s representation.
