Chinese investors are interested in infrastructure, agriculture, fishing and mining projects included on Peru-China bilateral agenda.

Said agenda will be "intense" in the second half of 2016, Peru-China Chamber of Commerce affirmed.

"President Kuczynski's visit to China itself sends a powerful message for bilateral relations," guild's chairman Jose Tam stressed.

He also referred to Chinese President Xi Jinping's forthcoming visit to Peru as part of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum Leaders' Summit taking place in Lima this November.

Tam also underlined the “China Mining 2016” Congress, the country's most important mining event, and the 10th China - Latin America and the Caribbean Business Summit.

“These [presidential] trips and events serve to present our investment projects," Tam pointed out.

As is known, the Head of State will visit the People's Republic of China and the United States of America, where he will participate in the United Nations General Assembly.

The Peruvian leader will stay overseas from September 10 to 22.

The trip to China will be his first foreign stop since taking power in July 28.
