China PM visit to Peru officially concluded on Sunday

The official visit Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang paid to Peru has concluded today.
On Sunday morning, a plane carrying the Chinese delegation departed from Peruvian “Grupo Aereo Nr. 8” Air Force Base.

At the site, the corresponding farewell ceremony was attended by Peru’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Ana Maria Sanchez; Peruvian Ambassador, Alberto Galvez de Rivero; and Air Force Air Wing Nr. 2 Commanding General, Major General Cesar Romero.

Peruvian Ambassador to China, Juan Carlos Capuñay; Chinese Ambassador to Peru, Huang Minhui; and Ambassador Raul Patiño, also joined the said ceremony.

On Friday, the Prime Minister met with Peruvian President Ollanta Humala at the Government Palace. 10 bilateral agreements were signed, among those one related to the construction of a bi-oceanic railway to connect Brazil and Peru.

On Saturday, Mr. Li held meeting with Chinese entrepreneurs. Once joined by the Peruvian President of the Council of Ministers, Pedro Cateriano, both toured the National Museum of Archaeology, Anthropology and History.

It must be noted Mr. Li highlighted the status of bilateral relations. Currently, Peru and China hold a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership; the highest level one.
