The scenarios to be faced due to the United States Federal Reserve System's (FED) monetary policy change were assessed by the World's Central Banks in Washington D.C.
Analyses were made in the framework of the 2015 Spring Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund, Peru’s Central Reserve Bank (BCR) announced.
The President of the BCR Julio Velarde participated in the gatherings.
The representatives also evaluated world's economic growth rates, the financing conditions and the currency movements, among other topics.
Distinguished personalities attending were: the IMF Managing Director, Christine Lagarde, the Chair of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (FED), Janet Yellen; and governors of developed and developing nations’ Central Banks.
