The Government of Peru has named Carlos Rodolfo Zapata Lopez as new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The appointment was made official by Supreme Resolution N° 183-2015-RE published today in El Peruano official gazette.
Credentials and full powers have been issued to the diplomat in accordance with the said document.
In addition, a ministerial resolution will set the date on which the new Ambassador will officially assume his diplomatic duties.
The resolution was inked by Peruvian President Ollanta Humala and Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Maria Sanchez.
