Carlos Lobaton’s goals praised by international media

International media has praised two astonishing goals scored this week by Peruvian midfielder Carlos Lobaton in a 4-3 win over Juan Aurich.
Described as 'stupendous' 'incredible' and 'outrageous' by international media, the two goals might catapult Lobaton into a sphere of awareness from now on.

Peruvian midfielder was in action for Sporting Cristal against Juan Aurich as part of seventh round of Torneo Apertura 2014 at Elias Aguirre Stadium on July 17, 2014 in Chiclayo, Peru.

Lobaton’s first goal was scored from a corner. He hit the ball at the corner flag, and it curled into the net, sneaking in at the near post.

His second goal, even more spectacular, came from within his own half. The goal prompted jubilant scenes of celebration from fans who could not believe what they had just witnessed.

In this regard, positive comments on these goals can be found on different sporting websites. 

“You’d be pretty happy scoring one absolutely incredible wonder goal in your career, but Carlos Lobaton is such a legend he scored two in the SAME match this week,” it was reported on Metro.co.uk.

“Even Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and notorious goalscorer/cannibal Luis Suarez would be impressed by these [Lobaton’s] efforts,” News.com.au noted in an article.
