Bruno Giuffra sworn in as Peru's Transport Minister

Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on Thursday afternoon administered the oath to new Transport and Communications Minister Bruno Giuffra Monteverde.

Giuffra served as Production Minister from July 28, 2016 to date.

Led by the Head of State, the ceremony took place at the Golden Hall of the Government Palace in Lima.

The event also saw the presence of Prime Minister Fernando Zavala, as well as other cabinet members.

As is known, the Government accepted Martin Vizcarra's resignation from the Transport portfolio on Monday morning.

Bio

Bruno Giuffra is an economist graduated from Universidad de Lima, with 25 years of experience in Peru and Latin America. 

He holds a Master's degree from U.S. Babson College. 

The 46-year-old is also a journalist and promotes small-sized business ventures.
