Former Brazilian world soccer champion Cafu deemed Peruvian midfielder Christian Cueva as "a real crack player."

It must be noted Cueva signed a four-year contract with Sao Paulo club on June 2, 2016.

On Saturday, Cafu played a friendly match at the Florida Cup 2017 tournament in memory of Chapecoense players killed in a plane crash last year in Colombia.

"It is always exciting to play matches for a good cause. What happened to Chapecoense hurt the whole world, and we will not forget it," the retiree told Peruvian Ovacion radio.

At the site, the former verde-amarelha star also expressed confidence Brazil's "Tricolour" squad will conquer this year's titles led by the Inca athlete.

"Cueva has already proven he is the crack player Sao Paulo was looking for. In 2017, he will surely guide the team towards the titles it is seeking," the 46-year-old added.

The Peruvian has already scored 7 goals defending Sao Paulo.
