The bilateral relationship existing between Peru and Bolivia are "exemplary" and "fraternal," Bolivian Ambassador to Peru Gustavo Rodriguez Ostria affirmed on Wednesday.

Likewise, he emphasized the significant role of the agreements signed at the Binational Cabinet Meeting held last June in Peru's Southern Puno region.

Moreover, the official affirmed Peru does not hold any pending territorial or maritime-related debts to Bolivia.

"We have expressed the [Peruvian] Parliament President the Plurinational State of Bolivia’s and President Evo Morales' desire to maintain fraternal relations with Peru," the diplomat underlined.

At the same time, he reminded Congress to be the institution playing a vital role in strengthening and dynamizing bilateral relations.

Rodriguez made these remarks during his official visit to Peru's Legislative Branch facilities.
