Peru internationals Claudio Pizarro and Jefferson Farfan will be traveling to England when their Bundesliga clubs face strong Premier League opposition in the UEFA Champions League group stages.
Pizarro and his Bayern teammates will meet Premier League outfit Manchester City, CSKA Moscow of Russia and Viktoria Plzen of Czech Repoublic in Group D as they look to defend the title they won last season.
Jefferson Farfan and Schalke 04 were placed in Group E along with UEFA Europa League winners Chelsea, FC Basel of Switzerland and Steaua Bucharest of Romania.
Thursday's draw in Monaco also put Barcelona in Group H with Milan, Ajax and Celtic; while Premier League champions Manchester United were selected with Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, La Liga's Real Sociedad and Shakhtar Donetsk of Ukraine in Group A.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti will return to former club Juventus in Group B, while they will also face Turkey's Galatasaray and Denmark's FC Copenhagen, Soccerway.com reported.
Porto, the 2004 winners, Atletico Madrid, Zenit and Austria Vienna will make up Group G, while two-time winners Benfica of Portugal join big-spending Paris Saint-Germain, Olympiacos and Anderlecht in Group C.
Finally, Arsenal will face Borussia Dortmund, Napoli and Marseille in arguably the toughest group of the competition, Group F.
