The leaders of Kuwait, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates have congratulated Peru on the occasion of the Independence Day of the South American country.
His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of Kuwait, on Sunday sent a cable of congratulations to Peruvian President Ollanta Humala, wishing him the best of health and his country development and prosperity.
Their Highnesses the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables to President Humala, according to Kuwait News Agency KUNA.
Meanwhile, His Majesty Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, dispatched a congratulatory cable to President Humala of the "friendly" Republic of Peru on the occasion of his country's independence anniversary, Bahrain News Agency reported.
In the cable, HM the King expressed utmost felicitations and best wishes of abundant health and well-being to the Peruvian president on this national occasion.
Finally, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, also sent a congratulatory cable to the Peruvian leader.
Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, dispatched a similar cable to the Peruvian head of state, Emirates News Agency WAM reported.
Greetings from Uzbekistan
Uzbek President Islam Karimov has also sent a greeting letter to President Humala Tasso on the national holiday of the South American country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan recently announced.
