17:40 Vargas Llosa: Peru should maintain legality, freedom and economic development
 
Lima, Apr. 10 (ANDINA). Nobel Literature laureate Mario Vargas Llosa cast his vote on Sunday noon hoping that the country would maintain the legality, freedom and economic development in the upcoming years.

 

After fulfilling his civic duty at Mercedes Indacochea school, in Barraco district, the writer said that Peru should maintain in the framework of legality and democracy.

“It (democracy) is an institution that has to be strengthened. Peru should stay in the path of legality and freedom.”

The author of The city and the dogs was accompanied by his wife Patricia Llosa, his daughter and granddaughters.

Finally, Vargas Llosa said that he would gather together to wait for the electoral results.
