The exact figure remains unknown because the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) presents an evaluation of the amounts received of an annual period next year.
However, Pando calculated that in 2009, international cooepration provided 500 million dollars to Peru, the average amount received permanently by the Peruvian nation since 2005.
The APCI director stated that the funds to be allocated in 2010 can be cut due to the financial crisis that affected the international community as a whole, and due to the upper middle-income country category reached by Peru.
Peru has become a leader country in technical cooperation in Latin America by providing assistance and development projects to different countries of the region.
