10:15 Peru president inaugurates new National Institute of Child Health
 
Lima, Jul. 21 (ANDINA). Peruvian President Alan Garcia Perez on Thursday inaugurated the new National Institute of Child Health, which will expand health care services to children in the country.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place outside the main entrance of the hospital, located on Avenida Javier Prado, near the junction with Toro Rosa Avenue in San Borja district.

This new health center will have a modern infrastructure, advanced technology equipment and natural gas powered facilities.

The National Institute of Child Health will provide specialized surgeries and medical care for heart, lung and burn patients.
