Peru's traditional, non-traditional exports increased by 66.5% and 3.5% in January

Non-traditional exports registered 488 million dollars in the first month of the year.

Lima, Mar. 13 (ANDINA).- Peru's traditional and non-traditional exports grew by 66.5 percent and 3.5 percent, respectively, in January this year compared to the similar month in 2009, the Central Bank of Peru reported Saturday.

Lima, Mar. 13 (ANDINA).- Southern Peru Copper Corporation is likely to generate 367 million soles (about 129 million dollars) in royalty revenue for Arequipa region, if the Tia Maria copper mining project in southern Peru goes ahead, Minister of Energy and Mines Pedro Sanchez said.



Peru International Reserves totaled US$ 35.4 billion by March 9

Lima, Mar. 13 (ANDINA).- Peru's Net International Reserves (NIR) amounted to US$ 35.4 billion by March 9, US$ 435 million more than February’s closing, the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCR) reported Saturday.
