Lima, Feb. 03 (ANDINA). A total of 106 Peruvian diplomatic delegations are carrying out an intense promotion campaign to increase the demand of Peru’s national drink Pisco.

 






Peru invites Tunisian president to ASPA Summit in Lima

Lima, Feb. 03 (ANDINA). Foreign Minister Rafael Roncagliolo on Friday invited the President of the Tunisian Republic Moncef Marzouki to take part in the Third Summit of South American-Arab Countries (ASPA) from September 26 to 28 in Lima.



April 3 proposed as Anti-Terrorism Day in Peru

Lima, Feb. 03 (ANDINA). A group of Peruvian legislators from various political parties have proposed that April 3 be known as National Anti-Terrorism Day in remembrance of the 69 people killed in Lucanamarca by members of the Sendero Luminoso movement in 1983.



Private investments likely to grow 8% in Peru in conservative scenario

U.S., Peru Marines provide assistance in poor areas in Callao

Lima, Feb. 03 (ANDINA). Marines from Peru and the United States have joined efforts to provide assistance to poor areas in Callao. Today, they opened two remodeled classrooms and an improved popular dining room in the human settlements of Tiwinza and Acapulco.

Lima, Feb. 03 (ANDINA). The Wildlife Conservation Society’s (WCS) Peru program announced today the discovery of 365 species previously undocumented in Bahuaja Sonene National Park (BSNP) in southeastern Peru.
