10:52 Peru's Real Garcilaso draw 1-1 in 2013 Libertadores debut
 
Lima, Feb. 14 (ANDINA). Peruvian side Real Garcilaso struggled to earn a 1-1 draw at home against Colombia's Independiente Santa Fe in their first match of the 2013 Copa Libertadores Group Six on Wednesday.

Cristian Martinez put the visitors ahead in the 15th minute, but Rolando Bogado levelled with a header in the 75th minute at Cusco's Inca Garcilaso de la Vega stadium.

Elsewhere, Mexican side Toluca claimed a surprise 2-1 win at Argentina's Boca Juniors in Group One and Uruguayan giants Penarol earned an important 2-1 win at Iquique in Group Four.

A duel between Brazilian compatriots saw Atletico Mineiro beat Sao Paulo 2-1 in Group Three. Another Brazilian team to win was Fluminense as they saw off Caracas 1-0 in Venezuela in Group Eight, FIFA.com reported.

The highlight of today's Copa Libertadores action will come from the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo, as Palmeiras host Peruvian champions Sporting Cristal in Group 2.
