The Peru national under-20 football team will be aiming for its first win in the final hexagonal of the South American qualification for the FIFA World Youth Championship, when they face the host team, Uruguay, in a clash at the Gran Parque Central Stadium in Montevideo tonight.

Coached by Victor Rivera, Peruvians will try to make up for the 2-0 defeat to Argentina in their opening game of the tournament’s final stage.

The Uruguayan side, in turn, managed a draw against Brazil on the previous match day; however, they classified earning first place of the group.

Sergio Peña will make a return to the side after serving a one-match suspension due to accumulation of yellow cards, whereas Enmanuel Paucar will substitute Renzo Garces.

On the other hand, first team players Alexis Cossio and Aldair Perleche might be left on the bench this time, as they have not rested since the tournament started.

Mauro Vigliano will referee the match scheduled for 22:10 local time.
