A group of folklore dancers and musicians performed at Jorge Chavez International Airport, thus encouraging inland and foreign tourists to dance.

Dressed in typical costumes, "Tukuy Tusuq" members showcased their cheerful choreographies at about 7:30 AM (local time).

Moves prompted smiles and applause from the public at the Andean nation's main airport.

Airport Police Chief Carlos Castillo thanked the ensemble for their presentation on the occasion of Independence Day themed activities.

"Our dances are very attractive; therefore, a second performance is projected to occur on July 28," he said.

The show will take place from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM outside the foreign arrivals gate.

Other activities on these days include a show by youth with different abilities from the National Council for Integration of People with Disabilities (Conadis).

Additionally, a folklore troupe will perform along the airport on July 28.

The aforementioned dancers and musicians fulfill their police duties on a daily basis and share their artistic side in their free time.
