On the occasion of Pisco Sour Day, the 'Pisco Sour Fest Costa Verde' was held at the nation’s capital Marbella beach and saw the participation of over 3,000 people over the weekend.

During the event, barmen from top discos and pubs captivated the public with their varied proposals.

Among fusions Spicy Sour, Green Tea Sour, Sami Sour and Limo Sour stood out thanks to their originality.

Without any doubt, the Peruvian traditional cocktail made of Pisco, lemon, glucose syrup, egg-white and cinnamon was tasted and enjoyed by many participants.

The festival welcomed foreigners —among entrepreneurs, tasters and barmen— who were surprised by the beverages and quality of Peruvian Pisco sold at the great fest.

Peruvian dishes

Dishes such as Pachamanca and chancho al palo (roasted pork), as well as Lima's traditional desserts were also offered to attendees.

Organizers in charge of Pisco Sour Fest Costa Verde —which kicked off the last Friday— promised to organize an even better show in 2017 and continue to amaze drinkers.
