The Rolling Stones, one of the world's longest-running and most popular rock bands, would play their first-ever concert in the Peruvian capital Lima next year.

According to information obtained by local news channels, after almost three years of negotiations with a Peruvian firm, the legendary rock band would perform on March, 18, 2015 at the Monumental Stadium as part of their “14 On Fire” world tour, which will include Argentina.

So far as it is known, the group has been offered some $6.5 million for the concert, the largest amount ever offered to any band or artist to play in the Andean country.

The Rolling Stones released their first single in 1962. And still today the rock icons sell out mega stages all over the world.

On seminal and immaculate albums like Exile on Main St., Let It Bleed and Some Girls they have shaped more than 50 years of rock history, not least due to Mick Jagger’s devilish charisma and Keith Richards’ immortal riffs.
