Peruvian Taekwondo athlete Julissa Diez Canseco on Tuesday arrived at Peruvian Sports Institute's (IPD) facilities to sign a commitment to represent the Andean country at Lima 2019 Pan American Games.

"I have signed the commitment. My goals are to participate in the Pan American Games and Tokyo 2020 Olympics. That's why I train […]," she expressed. 

"I'm highly committed and also happy to belong to such special group, as well as to have the support we had always waited so much for," she added.

By signing her commitment, Diez Canseco has joined the "Top Peru Lima 2019." 

As is known, "Top Peru Lima 2019" is a team comprising 150 national athletes who will represent the Andean country at the 2019 Pan American Games.

Such sportspeople will get more support from the Government as part of their preparations prior to said sports event

As is known, Diez Canseco got a bronze medal at the 38th G1 Belgian Open 2017 last March.
