Ronaldinho Gaúcho amazed local fans by displaying an extraordinary performance in Peru's Imperial City of Cusco on Sunday afternoon.

Dinho shone by putting his amazing strategies and tactics on display, when local club Cienciano faced Lima's Sporting Cristal in friendly match.

The Brazilian striker wore Cusco's team jersey and enjoyed the game, as did supporters gathered at Inca Garcilaso de La Vega Stadium.

The top forward was included in the starting line-up and thus supported teammates score. Following an extraordinary assistance to Enzo Castillo, which ended in a goal, he was replaced in the 70th minute.

Dinho left the field amid rounds of applause, as heard every time he touched the ball during the afternoon.

Cusco fans' excitement was at the top. Thus, some supporters abruptly climbed fences and entered the field to interact with the player. However, they were stopped by law enforcement agents.

The former World Cup Champion and F.C. Barcelona star arrived in Peru on Friday morning and, later, took a plane to the Southern city.

The striker agreed to come to Peru, after team delegates explained him the current situation of the club, which in the past claimed the South American Cup (2003) and the South American Recup (2004).

Cienciano is currently relegated from the first league. Thus, the match comprises a campaign aimed to support the team's return into first division.
