Luis Torres, Director of Export Promotion at Promperu, said Friday that the number of visitors will be 35 percent higher than last year. These business people also include corporate tourists making business transactions, he added.
With regard to export promotion activities, Torres said Promperu has conducted important business roundtables in Piura, Chiclayo and Pucallpa, as well as the “Sur Exporta” event, which involved many regions of Peru.
He announced that in this second half of the year, Promperu will hold “Centro Exporta” with the participation of 40 international buyers and nearly 150 Peruvian companies.
"These anti-cyclical export promotion efforts allow enterprises to have these trade promotion scenarios in times of crisis," he added.
