Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski participated in the launch of Telefon, a fundraising campaign that brings government and telephone operators together in an attempt to collect donations for victims of rains, landslides and flooding.
Financial support shall be offered via SMS text messages, through Telefon system. Text D to 1400 from any mobile phone or call 1224 from any Movistar home phone.
Held at Lima-based Government Palace, the ceremony included the participation of Production Minister Bruno Giuffra.
Later, the Head of State will welcome San Marcos University students, who are traveling to the United States to participate in LASPAU: Academic and Professional Programs for the Americas, a nonprofit organization affiliated with Harvard University.
