Newly-inaugurated President of Peru Pedro Pablo Kuczynski attended a Thanksgiving service organized by the Evangelical Christ Churches of Peru this morning as part of Independence Day official activities.
He was joined by first Vice-President Martin Vizcarra and Ministers of Economy, Alfredo Thorne; Education, Jaime Saavedra and; Development and Social Inclusion, Cayetana Aljovin.
Also attending was President of Congress Ms. Luz Salgado, and lawmakers Rosa Bartra (Fuerza Popular) and Gilbert Violeta (Peruanos por el Kambio), as well as political and municipal authorities, businessmen and diplomats.
Held each year since 2006, the ceremony has become an official event celebrating the Independence of Peru since 2010.
