Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski took part in the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) Dialogue, held within the framework of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Da Nang, Viet Nam.


Mr. Kuczynski was sitting next to Russian President Vladimir Putin and New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.


The event featured other Latin American leaders like Michelle Bachelet (Chile) and Enrique Peña Nieto (Mexico).


Peru's top official and the other APEC leaders were welcomed in Da Nang city on the eve of the 25th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting.

The formal APEC welcoming ceremony was staged by Viet Nam's President Than Dai Quang and his wife, who hosted a dinner in their honor.

APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting is the annual gathering of member economies of the aforementioned trading bloc.

The three pillars of APEC's agenda focus on i) Trade and Investment Liberalization; ii) Business Facilitation; iii) Economic and Technical Cooperation.
