The President of the Republic of Peru Ollanta Humala, has left for Yunga district of General Sanchez Cerro province in the region of Moquegua with the aim of opening improvement works on two education centers.
Upgrade works at the Andres Avelino Caceres school include the construction of a two-story building that houses physics, chemistry and computer labs, as well as restrooms with dressing facilities. The project required an investment of S/. 4,005,547 (about US$1,292,946).
In addition, the place now has a school cafeteria, a storage room, an auditorium, a playing field, a courtyard, a perimeter fence, sidewalks, ramps and garden areas.
The government also funds improvement works at Pampilla kindergarten with an investment of S/.1,389,764 (about US$448,600) to implement two pedagogical rooms, a principal’s office, a nurse’s office, a schoolyard, a perimeter fence, stands and sidewalks.
