Peruvian President Ollanta Humala met with Jordan's King Abdullah al Hussein, after attending the opening ceremony of the 69th UN General Assembly session which convened on Tuesday at the UN headquarters in New York.
The leaders discussed bilateral relations and expressed mutual interest in the field of culture, tourism, economic and trade (agribusiness) cooperation.
In this regard, they both agreed to hold soon the First Bilateral Mechanism Meeting of Peruvian-Jordanian Political-Diplomatic Consultations.
Likewise, the head of the Peruvian state reiterated the invitation to His majesty the King of Jordan (King Abdullah the Second) to visit the Andean nation.
